Rugby Union is played on Saturday in Perth. The younger your child, the earlier your game generally. ARKS do not set the times of the games, RugbyWA do. The earliest is 7.30am for games but generally 8.00am is the beginning of junior games and they go through the grades.

If they are turning 5 in the current year then yes. If they are not, they can do training only to prepare for the next year.

No, we have to travel home and away. Again, depending on how RugbyWA fixture competitions, you may travel to Mandurah or Butler. Yes it’s a long way, so make a day of it with your family. Remember, where ARKS travel to, they travel to us too so that’s pretty fair. In 2023 RugbyWA are looking at having a south of the river and north of the river competition.

Download the Rugby Xplorer app onto your phone. You will need to register yourself as the responsible person first and then your child. You have to answer all the questions to advance.

No. Your child must register on Rugby Xplorer as ‘Training Only’ as a minimum to be able to train. If you are not fully registered by the time the season starts, your child will not be able to play.

Training only (TO) is approximately $17. Any training commenced, this fee is non-refundable. Once you fully register, the TO component will come off your full fees.
They vary from u6 – u18 $135.66 – $242.76
They are strange figures because you are charged a card fee when you pay.

In 2023 you get socks and shorts provided. Playing jerseys are the property of ARKS but each Manager will be issued a set at the beginning of the season and they MUST be returned! Otherwise we will get the Merch girls onto you!!

Mouth guard (mandatory), football boots, head gear (not compulsory), a good fun attitude – you bring that.

Jim Kidds and Jim Kidds DFO have a good range. Recommend plastic cleats used for soccer, AFL, touch footy. The metal cleats / studs are designed for boggy wet fields. Slater Gartrell Sports in Midland have a good variety of metal studded rugby boots.

Look for committee members or coaches wearing predominantly red / white shirts with the ARKS logo.
